Once fitted, ensure that the belt is not twisted and that the buckle is not resting on the frame of the seat. 5) Placing your child in the seat: ensure that your child is sitting correctly in the seat, with its back supported and its bottom at the rear of the seat. Adjust the harness so there is no more than the thickness of two fingers between the harness and the child's chest. Protection is drastically reduced if the harness is slack.
